Janeke has been a constant in Hermanus since 2001. Long enough to have cut the hair of mothers and their daughters, and in some cases to have watched whole families grow up. That kind of loyalty is earned, not assumed.
hair dot com hermanus is an owner-operated, boutique salon. There are no juniors. Every client sits in Janeke's chair and receives her full attention — informed by two and a half decades of practice, genuine curiosity about her craft, and a deep familiarity with the people of this town.

What is Rhassoul Clay?
Rhassoul is a rare mineral clay mined from the Atlas Mountains of Morocco, used for centuries in hammam spa rituals across North Africa. Rich in silica, magnesium, and potassium, it naturally detoxifies the scalp, draws out impurities, and deeply moisturises the hair fibre without stripping its natural oils.
